Begin your visit to the Parker’s Crossroads Battlefield at the Visitor’s Center.  We are located just off Interstate 40 West (I-40) and Tennessee Highway 22 at Exit 108. The battlefield is midway between Memphis and Nashville.

 Preserving the Parker’s Crossroads Battlefield has been a 20-year process by a combination of local, state, and federal agencies, organizations, and individuals, all brought together for the purpose of telling the story of the 1862 engagement.

  The primary focus of the Parker's Crossroads Battlefield Association is the preservation and interpretation of the Parker's Crossroads battlefield. Here, on December 31, 1862, forces commanded by Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest were engaged by two Federal brigades commanded by General Jeremiah C. Sullivan.
